Healing Art

I've been providing a lot of Art recently for decor projects in various Health Care Environments.  Some designers call it Healing Art - working to tap into this specific market I have been gradually building a Collection of such images for use in this niche.  To see more take a look through these two Galleries on my Website:      Details in Nature/Macro   and   Details in Nature

Details in Nature / Macro

Macro / Details in Nature - Images by Randy Santos / dcstockimages.com

I recently bought a Canon 100mm 2.8L Macro. I just started shooting with it this past weekend, what a fantastic lens!  Here's a little gallery of what I've shot so far.  I'm fortunate to have realized great success in marketing my Collection of Washington DC Photography and am always looking towards expanding the scope of work I might offer within my existing client base.  I'm fascinated with the Details in Nature and this lens enables me to capture what I see at this scale - hopefully I will produce (and successfully market) a body of work that will allow me to supplement existing projects and extend my reach towards a newly targeted market segment.

The Art of Imaging / Washington Design Center

I am thrilled to have some of my work featured, along with nine other accomplished Washington DC Photographers / Artists, at the Architectural and Design Photography / The Art of Imaging show held at the Washington Design Center.

The show is sponsored by Dodge Chrome and Washington Design Center and is to showcase innovative imaging techniques by designers of Dodge Chrome, Inc. Various examples of these techniques, including " environmental interior decor " where photographic images are printed on a myriad of environmental surfaces, including metal, acrylic, wood, canvas, and paper, will show how these processes have revolutionized the design field.

A special thanks to Theo Adamstein, Carol Ann Boyd, and Ann Dominiski for including my work in this show.
